DESCRIPTION

The Ensemble Video Project is an online learning and performance experience that everyone in your program can participate in and enjoy. Working with a team of professional string specialists, students will drill down on the concept of performance and how to develop these skills to bring peak performance abilities and confidence to all the aspects of their life.

TIMELINE

WEEK 1

Project Introduction

In the first Webinar we will outline the key elements of the overall project and introduce the music. We will also begin to explore one of the core concepts of SuperStrings — memorization!

Goals: Practice, Practice, Practice

WEEK 2

Audio/Video Essentials

The way that you sound and look on your videos is vital to how your performance is received by your audience. This week we will discuss techniques that you can employ to help with the production of your videos and discuss how quality production contributes to your overall performance.

Goals: Submit Video 1 -focusing on a great audio performance

WEEK 3

Performance Essentials

In this webinar we explore how to incorporate a variety of different performance techniques into your videos. We now begin to incorporate the self-evaluation tool that is so important to the development of your own unique performance persona.

Goals: Submit Video 2 — a full length performance video; Submit Video 3 — 30 second fully memorized sectional video.

WEEK 4

B-Roll Essentials

The choices you make in filming your own story on the "B-Roll" is a vital component in the development of your unique performance persona as it highlights the things that make you a unique and special individual.

Goals: Submission of a B-roll video

WEEK 5&6

Editing & Extra Video

This time will be spent by the production team in the editing and creation of the final Video. During this period we may ask for additional footage from the participants.
